New Highlights and a Cat Story.

It’s been a year since I last coloured my hair (the boring black I got last year). This year I’m in the mood for some natural highlights. Yay! So glad I did! Thanks to Emily from LIFT for the new ‘do. The highlights are super duper thin so that it makes my hair lighter overall, and not streaky.
I got a half head of highlights. Of course with a photo because I was bored. 
Oh and I am wearing Chanel Phoenix Rouge Allure Laque here.
Tadaa! Seriously, best hair ever! Those are light golden brown highlights,
which I am seriously considering to maintain as long as I can afford to.
A Cat Story: The Neighbour’s Tabby Visits.
In other news, the neighbour’s tabby dropped by our backyard this morning.
It was a typical Saturday morning for Mingming, just checking out the birds in the backyard. At least, that’s what she thought it was going be.
It looks like the neighbour’s Tabby wanted Mingming to come out and play.
Mingming: “You better not come near me.”
Tabby: “I can has sum play timez?”
Mingming: “Did you not hear me? My back fur hasn’t grown out yet and I’m really shy about it! Growl!”
Tabby: “Kaaaay. Oooh pavement! & photog, plz can taek mai good side? Kthx.”
LOL. Mingming didn’t want anything to do with the Tabby, which stuck around for another 10 minutes while my sister and I petted it in the backyard. What a beauty! 
Oh and yes, Mingming speaks fluent human.

My boyfriend and I just brought home this playful and loving kittayn. We were planning to get a kitten around Canada day and wanted to name her after a famous Canadian.
So we called her Scherbatsky, or Scherbie for short. She is named after our favourite Canadian TV character, Robin Scherbatsky from How I Met Your Mother. 
I’ll try to keep up the posting but I’ll be away camping this weekend and playing with this little cutie, so forgive me won’t you?

Color Me Katie
Color Me Katie is a portal to the colourful world of Katie Sokoler, a street artist and photographer from Brooklyn, NY. I am insanely jealous of her creativity, and I admit, I even attempted one of her DIY crafts on Valentine’s day. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that her cat Moo is very handsome. This is a great source for home decoration projects that I’m sure I’ll be using when I move out to my own place.
Passive-Aggressive Notes
Passive-Aggressive Notes consists of mainly passive-aggressive notes, and sometimes just plainly aggressive ones. What makes this website so entertaining is that you always find yourself in 1 of 2 situations: 1) You feel sorry for the note writer; 2) You laugh at the note writer because he deserves it. It’s hilarious because we all have been in the presence of people who park like douche bags.
The Catorialist
All my Crazy Cat Ladies, put your hands up ! The Catorialist = (The Sartorialist – pretentious hipsters + gorgeous felines). These cats must be from a whole ‘nuther world from what I’m living in, because they actually sit and pose to get their photos taken. My Mingming would never sit through a photoshoot. Well, actually, there was this one time…

7 Things About Me.

I was tagged by Amy a long time ago (so sorry!) so here it goes.
- I have a raunchy sense of humour. LOL. If you see me interact with my friends, you can usually hear me dropping innuendos or other dirty comments. Not a lot people get it (or appreciate it) but it’s nice when people do get it. Obviously, I wouldn’t be doing it in inappropriate company either.
- I’m a wimp. Growing up I didn’t really have many fights with my siblings or parents, so I don’t know how to fight. I’m learning though, but it’s pretty tough. I avoid conflicts as much as I can if I can afford it.
- Every single day I look for sweeties — a.k.a. chocolate — in my house. It’s an unhealthy addiction, but so damn worth it!
- I hate Starbucks lattes. It tastes like milk with a hint of coffee. What a waste of money! I much prefer Second Cup (with a latte guarantee, no less!) or Timothy’s, whichever one is closer.
- I eat a bowl of Pho once a week. Yes, again, unhealthy. I’m trying to balance it with some exercise, LOL! I work out so that I can eat.
- One of my favourite sounds is kitteh purr, preferably with a kitteh massage. It’s like a little engine.
- You all know I’m a CCL (Crazy Cat Lady). And so I got this shirt. Yeah, I know. I’m cool.
