YSL Forever Youth Liberator 30 Day Challenge: Day 0.

YSL Forever Youth Liberator Range

I was invited by YSL to take part in a little experiment, an anti-aging skincare experiment.  We are a few days late, but starting today, my mom, who is 55 years young, is replacing her skincare regimen over the next 30 days with the YSL’s new Forever Youth Liberator line.  She will be using:

  • Forever Youth Liberator Serum, once in the morning and once at night
  • Forever Youth Liberator SPF 15 Day Cream, in the morning after the serum, and
  • Forever Youth Liberator Eye Cream, in the evening after the serum.

The Forever Youth Liberator products promise to dramatically lift wrinkles, plump, and add radiance to aging skin.  YSL created the range based on Glycobiology.  “YSL Skinscience has discovered that glycans tend to diminish in a quantitative and qualitative way after the age of 30. As a result, cells are sort of “locked”, stunted in their skin regeneration process. At the same time, structure glycans lose their qualities and the first signs of aging start to appear: wrinkles, loss of tone, dull complexion.”

The key active ingredient in the Forever Youth Liberator range — Glycanactif™ — is a patented complex of 3 glycans that are meant to unlock the skin’s youthful appearance.

While this is all cool and kinda nerdy ;) it’s time to get down to business and show you mom’s “before” shots.  Let it be known that while I was taking her photos, she told me, “I better look good after all of this.”  Hahaha.

I will be updating every week to show you her progress. :)  Oh yeah, we’re not getting paid to do any of this, but the products were provided free of charge in exchange for our participation in the experiment.

Your mom has great skin! It’s funny I see all you young beautiful bloggers recruiting your moms. YSL should have recruited us old haggard bloggers! LOL

Can’t wait! I like how a lot of bloggers’ mamas are involved in this. It’s so cute!

Yay for being a good sport, Mama Geekz! Though you couldn’t have twisted her arm too hard when it’s YSL we’re talking about. ;)

Your mom looks great. While she has signs of aging, as any woman will eventually. It looks like she took great care to prevent sun damage and other things that can dramatically make aging signs worse.

Also, I am going to keep an eye on this product so I can determine if it is something my mom would like. (she currently uses loreal genefique)
I may also have to start recruiting my mom for some reviews
