Lipglosses for a Lipgloss Snob, Part 1: Giorgio Armani Gloss d’Armani in Pink 508 — Blush.

Hi, my name is Arianne and I am a lipgloss snob.  I hate goopy lips but love the shine, even though Mr. Glitter Geek says “it looks like you ate a greasy hamburger and didn’t wipe your mouth.”  Articulate, isn’t he?  As a lipstick addict, one of my beauty resolutions this year is to try more lipglosses.  Lipglosses for a Lipgloss Snob is a series of posts that highlights my favourite lipgloss formulas at the moment.

Giorgio Armani Gloss d’Armani in Pink 508 – Blush

Thank goodness it’s not hard to like Giorgio Armani Gloss d’Armani in Pink 508 — Blush ($36).  It is easily the best lipgloss formula I’ve tried.

Gloss d’Armani is so cozy to wear on the lips.  It is scent- and taste-free, has smooth glide and no stickiness.  Pink 508 — Blush is a sheer, milky pink with subtle gold pearl.  The gold pearl makes Pink 508 – Blush easy to wear on both warm and cool skin tones.

This lipgloss makes my lips look impossibly plump.  Instead of the usual round or square tube, Gloss d’Armani are packaged in sexy oval tubes.  That and the shiny “GA” make them luxuriously extraordinary.

  • I like it! It’s a lovely, fresh color. Hiiii Scherbie 😉

    • Thanks Larie! I think it’ll be really pretty over bright pink lipsticks to tone them down a bit.

  • This one looks gorgeous on you and is now added to my shopping list!

  • This lipgloss is absolutely beautiful … and you look STUNNING. But I’m still dying at Scherbie’s face. SO not amused 😀

    ♥ Jessica

    • Hahah thanks Jessica.

I love her face too. Poor thing got dragged into my photo taking session.

  • i LOVE Sherbie’s expressions xD
a very “wth momma, put me down now” with cut eye…<3

    • I know. She was just there minding her own business and bam, she’s in momma’s arms. Lol

  • One of the main reasons I don’t like glosses is because of the stickiness. Is the formula tacky at all?

    • Hey Dani, I hate stickiness, too! This one is only very slightly tacky so it sticks around longer than non-sticky glosses, but it’s not to the point that it drives me mad. It’s a great formula. 🙂

  • Wow, I have some GA lipsticks but never tried their glosses… I need one now!!!! Thanks for your review, you’ve just created a new lemming 😉

    • You’re welcome, Anne. 🙂 Check out the entire collection while you’re at it. I’m eyeing those eye pencils myself.

  • I went oo000o000o0 when I saw this color! don’t tempt me with the perfect nude pink shade and tell me the formula is great too!!

    • LOL! Sorry, I do love the formula. 😛 It’s pretty, no?

  • Jacqueline

Ooooo so pretty! Love that it’s not sticky…I hate sticky :S Dang now I want one hahaha. Oh and I love your hair in this post!

    • Thanks Jacqueline. 🙂 It’s unwashed hair with hair powder, LOL.

  • Danielle

First, that shade looks lovely on you and second, the very next lipgloss I purchase will be Giorgio Armani. It sounds amazing!

    • It’s amazing. 🙂 Better than the Chanel Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss; less sticky.

EEEEeeeee cute kitty!! More kitty pics please!

    • Scherbie hates photos, but I try to get her in as much as I can. 🙂

  • This is GORGEOUS. It actually shows up light pink and that’s amazing!
Hey little Scherbie! He looks kind of bored with it all haha!

    • Dear Tracy, Scherbie is a girl! LOL. Stop calling her a he. You hurt her feelings.

  • OMG Arianne, you look absolutely stunning! Would you mind sharing with us, what you’re wearing on your cheeks? It honestly looks like you’re glowing!

    • Thanks Aysha! I am wearing plenty of Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Dollface. 🙂

  • Eeehhh…I don’t think I could spend that much on a gloss. I just…I can’t….justify it. D:

  • Hahahaha, Scherbie looks sooo unimpressed 😛

That gloss is gorgeous! Very cool that it’s scent free too.
