What Makeup Look Can’t You Wear in Public?

I rock a dramatic smokey eye every now and then.  Other times, I like to wear brights, especially when I need a pick me up.  And although I’ve worn red lipstick on my blog a couple of times, I confess that I have yet to go out in public with lips painted bright red.  Yet I get jealous of girls who wear bright lips full of attitude.  One of these days, I just want to say eff-it and rock the red lips.

Oh, and BF doesn’t like red lips. :(

How about you?  Is there a makeup look you’re too shy to wear in public ?  Is it:

(1)  Smokey Eyes

(2) Statement Lips
including reds, fuschias, or dark vampy lips

Alexis Bledel Fuschia Lips

I’ve never seen anyone rock the statement lip like Alexis Bledel. So hot!

(3) Bright Eyes

… or something else?  Please let me know in the comments. :)

How hot is Alexis in this look?  The hair, the makeup and especially the boots?  I die!

    • I LOOOOVE Rory, especially in her early awkward days.

For brights, if you don’t feel adventurous enough, you should try bright eyeliner to start. It’ll give you enough oomph to see whether you wanna take it full speed. :)

    • I have a feeling if you read enough of these beauty blogs, you’ll start ;)

I never do full on dramatic smokey eyes during the day, but I definitely wear soft smokey eyes every now and then.

    • I’m the same way. But I love how it looks on (most) other girls.

I know, right? If I had piercing baby blue eyes like Alexis Bledel’s I would probably wear fuchsia everyday.
