Friday Fun: Your Favourite Spam Comment.

I get quite a bit of spam comments on the blog now (I must be getting famous!), but this one had me stumped for a couple of minutes. Is it spam? Or is he actually saying something related to my blog?

In response to PSA: My Blog May Not Like Your Browser, RandTaylor writes:

Thanks so much for the great post. I’ve been searching for blogs like this now for 30 minutes and i finall found one that’s worthwhile. I’m really into video games, do you have any information on the new Call of Duty? I know this is off topic, but I thought I’d ask. Thanks…oh also, I have some video game writings if you want to check them out. Here are a few of them

Dear RandTaylor,

I’m glad you found my public service announcement so great. I am flattered that you think my blog is worthwhile. Sorry, no, I don’t have any information on the new Call of Duty, but my boyfriend seems to like it very much. I’m not a big fan of first person shooter games, actually. I only play little bitty gnomes on World of Warcraft. Like Kitteh here.

Do You Have a Favourite Spam Comment?

This one totally takes the cake for me.  Do you get cleverly structured spam like this one too?

Fallen off the Face of the Blogosphere…

Hi everybody. I am back! A few fantastic things to share with you all:

  1. I have finished school! This, of course, depends on whether I passed my elective: History of Espionage. I’m pretty sure I pulled at least a 60%. LOL. B. Sc. in Computer Science, baby!

  2. The boyfriend and I are going on our first trip together to Costa Rica on May 9. Three weeks will include a hike to the active volcano, hanging out with the turtles, surfing, and ziplining among other fun stuff. We’re super excited!

  3. I’ve been playing some World of Warcraft with my boyfriend. All my friends warn against it as it is social suicide, but I get to dress up my cute gnome warrior. Yes, her name is Kitteh. LOL.
