Besides beauty, my other love is snowboarding. Here I was in Mont Tremblant, Quebec yesterday happily riding — then not so happily falling — on a hill.

What’s The Most Beautiful Part Of Winter For You?: “For me, definitely the best part of winter is up in the mountains. There is nothing better than snowboarding down fresh powder. I know a lot of people do not like winter because of slush and cold, but I look forward to it every year now. Snowboarding yippee! And, it’s an excuse to get more hot chocolate than any other time of year.”

Today I battled boxing day for the first time ever. Today is also my birthday, and I was determined to get myself a present. It was time for me to finally replace my winter boots, which have now formed holes on the heel because I walk like a penguin.
I’m pleased to announce that the boots have been found after scouring all the shoe stores in the mall. Ladies and gentlemen, my 100% awesome slouch boots from Browns:
They’re totally gorgeous. Made of soft leather and lightly lined with warm fuzziness for my feet. They are also my first wedge-heeled shoes, hence I just discovered how comfortable these heels are. My god! I’ve been blind for years! I hope these last me for at least a couple of years. But I suppose it isn’t so bad if I go out and get more awesome boots for myself no?
