Oct 6th
I’m thinking of getting bangs. So I played around with InStyle.com’s Hollywood Hair Virtual Makeover to try on hairstyles, and MAKEUP???

And just for kicks, Kim K’s blonde do! LOL…

Aah my skin is blending into my hair!

A Better (Built-In) del.icio.us Notifier on your Mac.
May 24th
Have you ever heard of del.icio.us? It is a website I use for social bookmarking. Before I start getting my geek on, I better leave the explaining of the term to the video below.
One particularly wicked feature of del.icio.us is that you can save links for people on your network. For example, if I come across an article about the most romantic places in the world, I might choose to save the link for my boyfriend (hoping that he would get the hint! lol). To do this, all I have to do is save the link with the tag for:username. The webpage will then show up under his “links for you” menu item.
Once you are on the “links for you” page, you can then access its RSS feed by clicking on the RSS button on your browser’s address bar (it looks like
on Safari,
on Firefox).
Most people might save the feed straight to their RSS feed reader (Google makes a fantastic one). Recently though, I discovered an even better way to keep track of links addressed to me.
Instead of chucking it into my RSS feed reader with all other blogs I read, I import my del.icio.us feed into my Mail application.
All new links will show up in my Inbox. I am notified as soon as the links are posted, and I’ll never miss a del.icio.us link addressed to me ever again.
Fabulous, right?
