Hola chicas! I am back from sunny Costa Rica. I’ll write all about my trip in another post, but for now, I will talk about nummy chocolates!
I received Nestle Noir Mousse Delicate Chocolates in the mail while I was away, thanks to Ginger Won’t Snap. Of course, these were consumed right away for my sweet tooth’s sake, as well as for your reading pleasure.
So let’s get right to it.
Nestle Noir Mousse Delicate Filled Milk Chocolate

I gotta be honest: the mousse part of the chocolate was, hmm, interesting? The milk chocolate was very chocolatey. It actually almost tastes like rich brownies. It wasn’t my favourite, though. It was too sweet for my liking, and I’m sure that the mousse contributed to its sweetness.
Nestle Noir Mousse Delicate Filled Dark Chocolate

I definitely liked this one more than the milk chocolate. I enjoyed the contrast between the sweet mousse and the bitter outer shell. The sentiment was also shared by the rest of the panel of judges (my family, who also critiqued the chocolates along with me). This came out as the absolute winner of the two.
The bite-size packaging definitely brought a more indulgent feel to the box of chocolates; I thought that was a really nice touch. I preferred the dark over the milk chocolate kind. If you do too, you might also like the Nestle Noir Eclats or Intense.
