Here’s a “pretty” look. I noticed that I don’t usually do pretty. I think it’s because pretty takes a bit more skill than bold looks. Do you agree, or is it the opposite? I got a new purple mascara so I thought I’d take it for a test drive. I’ve worn this look a few times now, and I must say it’s one of my favourites! :)

Get the Look

Apply a shimmery lavender (dry) as a sheer wash all over the lid, inner corner, and inner 1/3 of the lower lash line. With a purple pencil, line the upper lash line, and the outer 2/3 of the lower lash line. Draw the line thicker towards the corner. Using the grayish purple (wet), add more depth by smudging it on top of the liner. This time smoke it out even more on the corners. Blend out the edges. Apply a taupe on the crease to create depth. Line the waterline with a black pencil, then finish off with purple mascara. Apply blush, lipstick, and lipgloss as usual.
