Our Favourite Canadian Baby Products

Can you even believe that I have a one-year-old now? Time sure flies. Also, *whimper*. She’s irresistible now more than ever, though.

So it’s time to talk about our favourite products. There are only a few products that we absolutely can’t go without. This stuff goes with us when we travel because nothing else is better in our opinion. And the fact that they are all Canadian makes them perfect in our eyes.

Favourite Canadian Baby Products by Live Clean and Babybutz

We’re huuuuuuge fans of Live Clean (baby). Our absolute must-haves are Live Clean (baby) Gentle Moisture Tearless Shampoo & Wash* and Live Clean (baby) & mommy Bath & Massage Oil* (available in various retailers across Canada). The shampoo is nice and washes without yucky residue, especially from her full head of hair. It doesn’t dry it out like other shampoos we’ve tried. The massage oil is glorious and just smells sooooo good. I use this as an after-shower body oil as well and it makes me feel so yummy. 🙂 What’s even better is that Live Clean is eco-friendly — only using renewable and sustainable ingredients in their products. Good for you and good for the earth!

Babybutz Cream (around $12, online or I got mine at my local Shoppers Drug Mart) is amazing to help with healing and preventing diaper rash. This is thicker and harder to spread than your usual diaper cream, but I find that it protects the diaper area better than the rest. It has a more concentrated amount of zinc oxide — 30% instead of the usual 15% — so it provides an amazing barrier from wetness.
