Fall collections are starting to stream in but I can’t let CHANEL Summer go unreviewed and without a look! I hope you enjoy. 🙂
CHANEL Eyeshadow Quad in Empreinte du Desert ($70) consists of four glowing eyeshadows: green, peach, champagne and dark brown. All and incredibly creamy for powder eyeshadows. So soft and pigmented. The glow is so beautiful on the eyelids as you’ll see down below.
CHANEL Les Beiges Duo N° 01 ($74) is a split pan of peach blush and bronzer. You can use them separately or swirled together. On the cheeks, it reads as a satin finish rather than matte, so it’s very flattering as it doesn’t pick up lines or uneven texture. And this colour is stunning on a tan.
CHANEL Levres Scintillantes Aqua Glossimer in 606 Rouge Désert ($36) is a super glam, bronzy red. It’s sheer, but it adds enough drama on its own. On top of a similar shade of lipstick, this could really take your lips to next level gorgeous.
CHANEL Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner in 817 Oasis ($35). I forgot to take a photo and swatch of this. Haha. But it’s a pretty green that’s soft and it glides well along the lash line.
These swatches don’t really do these products justice, so I wanted to do a look to show how these products just glow. Like, gah-low-wuh. But in the most polished and not strobe-y way.
In this look, I used the green eyeshadow in the palette all across the lid. I popped on the peach on the inner corners. On the outer half of my top lash line, I smudged a brown pencil eyeliner, then topped that with the dark brown eyeshadow in the palette. Blend blend blend!
On the lower lash line, I used Oasis eyeliner, and smudged a bit more of the dark brown eyeshadow on the outer thirds.
For the cheeks, I just swirled the brush (sooo good, this brush!) and applied high on my cheeks and swept back.
Dat Chanel glow doe.
Ugh, that eyeshadow.
Have you checked out CHANEL summer yourself? What did you think?
