Fall In Love With These: Lancôme Vernis In Love Reviews, Photos, Swatches

Let’s talk nails! Extending Lancôme’s current “In Love” lines is the brand spankin’ new Vernis In Love ($16 for 6 ml). I don’t have the best nails for nail swatches, and so I asked the help of a wonderful friend Ayu to swatch the shades. :) She has great nails; they are fake nail calibre and I think I might just make her the resident nail swatcher for Glitter Geek. Hahaha.

Vernis In Love comes with a wide curved brush that makes application very easy. The bottles are tiny, so they are quite expensive; they are 6 ml instead of the usual 13-15 ml. These are all two-coaters, and they all applied smoothly.

Pure Narcisse 020M is a sheer nude creme. This is a clean, your-nails-but-better shade.

Rose Boudoir 375B is a fuchsia rose creme. A classic, goes-with-everything shade.

Gris Angora 407N is a violet-tinged grey creme. This one was a little bit bubbly, but it levelled out after two coats.

Rouge Réglisse 473N is a deep blackberry creme. Wouldn’t this be a great colour for the cooler months?

For the launch of the collection, Lancôme has suggested colour pairings for perfectly coordinated fingers and toes. Which one is your favourite? According to the brand, Aquamarine & Rouge In Love are set to become overnight cult classics. I’d have to agree! They are gorgeous.

The Vernis In Love nail polish line is now available in department stores and on Lancôme.ca. Some shades are also available in Sephora and Shoppers Drug Mart (selection varies).

What do you think of this Vernis In Love line? Do any of the colours catch your eye? What is your favourite fingers and toes pairing when it comes to nail polish? I always wear a lot of blue and teals in the summer, and also coral. But I think those actually don’t coordinate, eh? ;)

I’m going to have a closer look at Pure Narcisse, was it easy to apply evenly? I like this type of nude look but it’s hard to find a light color that doesn’t streak. The combo I like is Bleu de Flore et Rose Boudoir. That dark blue is stunning!

My friend reported that it does apply evenly! :)

I love the deeper shade!!! These are all so gorgeous and timeless though!

I agree Margo! They really are timeless shades. I know there are a lot of trendy shades in the line, too, but we didn’t receive those. :)

Gris Angora looks super pretty! I’ve been loving Greys lately

Gris Angora looks so pretty! But the amount of polish in that bottle is just ridiculous – it’s half the amount of regular polish! I’d much rather invest in Chanel or Dior or even Tom Ford than this!
