This is Laura Mercier Creme Smooth Lipstick in Dulce de Leche ($32). Yeeeup, toldja I had to get it. Here’s a glorious photo via Jessica of Beautezine, because I wore it several times and did not take an untouched photo. (It was worth it.)

And here’s how it looks on me. How would I describe this colour? Browned rose, I think? All I know is it’s all sorts of pretty. It’s perfect, in fact. I’d wear it to my fall wedding. It’s either this or a red lip stain. Oh my, I just love this colour.

The warm undertone just works wonderfully with my warm complexion. I never thought I’d say that about a brown lipstick. This isn’t your mom’s brown lipstick from the ’90s. Dulce de Leche is brown lipstick 2.0. ;) And the formula is brilliant: creamy and opaque with a slight sheen. Again, perfect!

    I LOVE this lipstick on you. I’ve been wanting it too but not sure if it’s a bit warm for me or not. How do u figure it will work on me (currently not tanned, about NW22).

      Hey Saadeh! It’s hard to tell. It’s one of those colours that look different on several skin tones. It’s possible that it will look more rosy on you (you have pigmented lips, right?) My lip colour is like, grey lol so this is what it looks like.
