MAC Prep + Prime Highlighter in Bright Forecast

Dear Bright Forecast ($27.50; I’m calling you BF from now on),

You complete me. Really, you do.

I have to be totally honest, though.  I was a little concerned at the start.  You were a total charmer and everyone was falling in love with you (you are an artistrhi top 5 face fave after all).  They said you are like YSL Touche Éclat not-so-snooty counterpart, and that you perform better, too.  It was the perfect recipe for a heartbreak.

I’m glad I took a chance on you, BF.  You know why?  Because you didn’t offer any false promises.

MAC Prep + Prime Highlighter in Bright Forecast (applicator)

Underneath or atop MAC Pro Longwear Concealer (NW30) under my eyes, you take away darkness more than any other concealer had ever done before. Your peachy colour almost completely neutralizes my dark circles that I barely need any concealer at all.  Just between you and me, if I had to choose, I’d ditch MAC Pro Longwear Concealer for you.  Keep it a secret though; he’s a bit of a jealous type.

I really want to try the new Prep + Prime pressed powder.  I’ve been reading great reviews about it.  What about you?

    It seems like this one is a winner! I’ve given up on concealers and brighteners and what not, since they seem to dry out my under-eye area and make it worse than it already is…but I will have to look into this one.

      It’s awesome! You don’t really have dark circles but if you did, this would obliterate (LOL that’s the first time I ever used that word) them.

      It’s makeup! I have a brow tutorial in my to-do list. Soon, hopefully!

      They are two different things. Prep + Prime brightens, UD primer potion makes eyeshadow last longer. P+P is $27.50. And so so so worth it.

    I have the MAC Prep & Prime Vibrancy Eye Primer – not worth the cost sadly. :( I shall join the jealous chorus about your perfect skin & brows & Marcus…however, I can say I do have eyelashes! lol Thanks for the great work blogging :)

      Well I’m jealous that you have eyelashes. What you see here are lash extensions, and unfortunately my real lashes are very VERY Asian. (Translation: wimpy-ass). :)

    I use this and it’s magic. it’s the only thing I’ve ever used and believe me, I’ve tried at least thirty different things, that actually helps the undereye circles without creasing!! It’s amazing!

    Since we have the same coloring..are you using MAC pro longwear concealer in NW 30 or NC 35? Which is better for you? Thanks :>

      Hi Jowina,

      I find that when my skin is about NC 35, I like the NW 30 more because the NC 35 is too dark. Right now I am NC 40, so NC 35 would be better for me now, but I can’t for the life of me find that shade in my drawers!! grrrr..

    I have not tried this product, but did hear it was comparable to YSL Touche Eclat, which of course I found hard to believe. But after this review, guess I’ll be going the cheapy route!! And btw, your eyebrow shape is ridiculous!! They are perfect!!!
