Booty Camp Update: My Biggest Challenge Yet.

It’s been a long time since I posted about my Booty Camp progress, and I thought this would be a good time for an update.

It’s a very exciting time for me.  Today, I just started on my 8-week challenge for a new “me.”

What does it all mean?  It means booty camp sessions twice a week for 8 weeks, along with clean eating habits and being active on a regular basis.  They will pick the best transformations of the year, and they get to go to LA and a shopping spree.  Pretty sweet, right?

I already got my initial measurements.  They’re not the best since I’ve slacked off big time all March, but I’m ready to pick up the pace again.  This week I will be taking my “before” photos and letting it all hang out.  Muffin tops, thunder thighs, and badonkadonk.  Yikes!  It won’t be easy looking at the photos, but they will also be a great motivational tool for me.  I’ve taken photos like these in the past, and I find them extremely useful in attaining my fitness goals.

I’m hoping that putting updates up on this blog will be helpful to some who are also starting on a new fitness goal.  Of course, it’ll be a good way to keep me accountable of my own goals.  All in all, I’m very excited and am ready for a new, better me. 🙂

  • Good luck! It sounds like you’re pretty motivated and the boot camp will be great for keeping you going.

I’ve also really let my fitness levels drop for the last 12 months and need to get back on it.

    • Thanks Jen! What did you use to do? Any sports/hobbies that keep you active? When the weather gets warmer I also take my bike out by the lake and just riiiide. I love it. 🙂

  • I kind of want to start being active too 🙂 baby steps for me though!! starting with Dance central on kinect and then I’ll move on to Hip hop abs, it’s hard for me to go to the gym or any fitness class because of my work schedule but I’m gonna try to loose some pounds before the summer is over 🙂 count me in 😉

    • Good luck Marianita. 🙂 Keep us updated.

  • Thanks for sharing this. Checked out the site – the program looks great & they have a location in my city too! Now all I have to do is save up. Looking forward to reading about your progress. Good luck!

    • I really really recommend it if you’re bored of the gym. It’s a really fun and effective way to work out. 🙂

  • Good luck and you can do it girl!!!

  • Hi Arianne,
I am new to your blog and I just wanted to share that I joined a new gym to help me kick up my routines a notch.

I noticed that the (not so) subtle difference can really measure your level of fitness. I have always been treadmill running girl. I thought I was pretty good to run for 30mns non-stop on the treadmill or track. Well the new cardio and kick boxing classes I took at my new gym has really kicked my butt and made me realize I have some extra work I need to do!

Good luck on your goal. Mine is just to drop 2 dress sizes – I don’t think I have the confidence to rock a bikini like I did 6yrs ago. I have had a daughter since that time.

    • Hi Lexi! Thanks for stopping by. 🙂 Kickboxing is definitely a whole another animal. I love that kind of cardio; it really hurts the next morning.
Good luck on your goal! Keep me posted on how you’re doing. We’re all here to support each other.
