Because I’m Addicted to Bronzers: Annabelle Haute Gold.

Glowy.  If I were to describe Annabelle Haute Gold bronzer in one word, that would be it.

I had so many rejected one-liner references for this post, such as:

  1. If I glowed any more, I would be Edward Cullen.
  2. My glow is giving JLo a run for her money.
  3. I love bronzer so much, my name might as well be Snooki.

OMG.  I am officially crazy. ;)

Anyways, here I was already in love with Annabelle’s Mineral Bronzer in Terra, and then I received this bronzer not too long after.  Of course at that point, the bronzer bar had been set pretty high by Terra.  But Haute Gold is nothing like Terra.  On me, the colour almost blends in completely, whereas Terra gives my skin some depth.

I have to say that I do like Haute Gold for its versatility.  Women (or men, if you like to bronze it up too!) of all skin tones would benefit from it.  It’ll make a gorgeous bronzer on those with fair skin, while on someone tanned like me or darker, it becomes more of a highlighting powder.  Like Terra, Haute Gold is easy to wear because it doesn’t lean orange. :)

Of course, if I don’t post a picture of myself wearing Haute Gold, you might think I’m totally lying.  So here.

Annabelle Haute Gold worn on forehead, cheeks (+ some blush), nose, chin. :)
(And how lovely is my hair here?  Seriously!  I can’t get it to look like that again.)

There you have it.  No need to splurge on bronzers this season, Annabelle’s got you(r face) covered.  Rating: A+.

Psst… I Have a Confession!

In sorta related news, before I got to try all these Annabelle products, I had this whole different impression of the brand.  See, Annabelle is usually set up right beside Bonne Bell, which let’s be honest, is makeup for junior high schoolers.  So I always thought that Annabelle was just like Bonne Bell — their names even rhymed. :)

Fast forward a few years: the sweet Fabulously Broke was asking me for drugstore makeup recommendations, and I couldn’t stop recommending Annabelle.  Oh how things have changed!

Disclosure: This product was sent to me by Groupe Marcelle for consideration only.
