Summer FOTD: Corals Overload!

My blogger friends are all a-Twitter over corals these past couple of weeks. I have been trying to decide whether or not to get the MAC Coral Crepe paint pot that everybody seems to love, but I am still on the fence about it. I think the base I used for this look — CS “Peach Bellini” gel liner — works just fine, don’t you think?

Just so you know, I never wear coral or pink eyeshadows, but after wearing this look, I am definitely sold.

Do You Prefer Having a “How To” for each FOTD?

I still haven’t standardized my FOTD posts.  Sometimes I post instructions, and other times I just put the placement beside the product.  Thoughts?  I just want to know if people actually find the “How To” helpful. :)

  1. Me, no.

I just like seeing the mix of colours up close and personal on your eyes

P.S. I found a Sephora and tried out the Too Faced shadows. THEY ARE GORGEOUS! At $24, I’m hesitating.. but the coverage is awesome.

I just wonder where I’m going to wear them, because they seem too dark for everyday wear….

    • Thanks for chiming in FB! :)

I do enjoy taking close up pics of the makeup too. It’s really hard to get a good angle without holding the camera in a weird way, but the results are always worth it.

You can start by using the darker colours as liner? You can also use them sheerly in your crease just to define the eyes a little bit.

  2. this is soo gorgeous! I’ll have to attempt some sort of coral eye look one of these days, although I’m not sure that I actually own any coral shadows. Will have to check. I personally find how-to’s very helpful and encouraging. They give me a sort of “hey! you can do this too!” feeling

  3. You look so pretty with the lipgloss :) I have heard awesome things from every Makeup Forever product. I see it @ Sephora all the time :) One of these days, I will probably pick up the F&B foundation :)
