Hi ladies! How have the Holidays been treatin’ you? Up until today I’ve been braving the malls to finish my Christmas shopping, and it is finally done.
However, there were temptations aplenty. And I caved. I was at Winners today and found Megan. Who is Megan, you ask? Meet my new Junior Drake Megan purse. Warning: purse porn incoming!

The leather is so buttery soft, and it is such a gorgeous rich brown. The flap pockets have magnetic closures, with straps extending over the front ones. It is very roomy and has a million pockets. But the most important thing: it has a cross-body strap. (Very important because I hate traditional shoulder bags that just slide right off my shoulders.) Retail price is $498. I got it for $185!!! It makes me wanna sing: “Did you ever know that you’re my hero?” Because it is just drop. dead. gorgeous. and a really good deal!
I can’t wait to wear this out tomorrow, and the next day, and the day after that… I think this’ll make a really great everyday purse.

Actually I used to hate shopping at Winners too because it’s so overwhelming, but yesterday I suddenly felt like purse shopping. It must be fate!

Also have you seen Christine’s Warm & Cozy swatches? I’m not sure if you’ll be able to fulfil your cheek-hilighter void with a MSF — they’re a LOT more pigmented than they have been in the past. Candlelight is very pretty, though!

Yes I saw the swatch… and I’m curious if it’ll still work with a light hand. My skin tone is much darker than Christine’s, so who knows how the MSF will look on me.
