Banish Dry, Damaged Hair with VO5 Hot Oil.

I am not a hair expert by any chance. But, I do know when I am having a good hair day. Good hair days are hard to come by these days, especially with the cold weather we have been getting.

When my hair is looking and feeling its worst, I use VO5 Hot Oil before shampooing. 60 seconds is all it takes.

Ooh, and I also like the ads. Totally exagg, but it is a damn good product. It definitely takes away my hair blahs, leaving them looking healthier. (Yes, I know hair cannot be “healthy”, so I said “looking healthy” ‘kay?)

So if you have dry, damaged hair from overprocessing, colouring, or heat styling, I highly recommend these products. It costs about $5 for 3 vial thingies.

Holiday Makeup

I’m going to a Christmas party tonight, and I’ve been trying to decide what makeup look to wear. I think I might go with smoky, chocolate browns like these ones:

What do you guys think? I’ll try to snap some pictures of the look if I find good lighting conditions. Hope you’re all doing well. :)

  1. I remember V05~! I used to use it too!

My friend who’s Mom is a hairstylist actually told me that in a pinch you can do deep conditioning with regular conditioner. It’ll take longer than 60 seconds of course… After showering and shampooing, you use regular conditioner. Just soak it in and put a shower cap on. Then go about and do your own business. You can soak in the tub, do the laundry, do a pedicure, etc. Leave for 30-60 minutes and then rinse. Leaves it super soft, but of course like I said, takes longer.
