It’s past midnight and I really should be in bed, but I can’t help but post this…
I was cursed (or blessed?) with pin straight Asian hair, and I’ve been looking for ways to style it wavy for that summer I’ve-been-hanging-by-the-pool-or-beach-all-day look. I never had much luck with curling irons either; I always ended up having prom hair.
I get a girly urge every once in a while (even in pyjamas) and lo and behold, I am having one of those days. When I found this Beachy Waves with a Flat Iron tutorial, I was all over it and wanted to try it at once. And wow! I am so pleased with the results. After 20 minutes my hair was looking pretty hot! Needless to say I will be sporting my beachy waves a few more times when the warmer weather hits Toronto. This was super easy, even for a klutz like me, and I don’t know squat about hairstyling! My only annoyance about this is that my flat iron often unplugged itself from the electrical outlet from over-twisting. I think this would be much easier having 360 degree electrical outlets around.
And now for the pictures.
