Best of 2007.

The year 2007 has been too awesome, but now it is coming to a close. Here is my Best of 2007:

  1. Visiting the Philippines for Christmas
  2. Discovering and getting addicted to Grey’s Anatomy
  3. Best summer buys: my Panasonic Lumix FX30 digital camera, and Oakley Behave Asian Fit sunglasses
  4. Sticking to my workout routine and having lost 10 lbs so far :)
  5. Moving into my own room in the house that I painted a nice crimson colour
  6. Paintballing at Camp X in Bowmanville was beyond fun!
  7. Date night at Cirque Du Soleil’s KOOZA show
  8. Taking up painting classes, personal training, and the Christmas choir
  9. Getting Fred and having him grow up really, really fast
  10. Rom and I turned three this year, and I got the loveliest promise ring <3
  11. Dressing up as Wendy on Halloween
  12. Going to the ChickAdvisor Shop Crawl Part Deux with my best girlfriends, without totally losing it after an unfortunate incident of bumping into someone unpleasant :P
  13. I got my best haircuts this year from Deidre at Jason Michael’s
  14. Getting all things fab for Christmas and my birthday (thank you’s!)
  15. Picking up the most fabulous things from (Birthday week!) Boxing week sales: my awesome slouch boots, and Lululemon Carry Less Pant in black

Boxed out.

Today I battled boxing day for the first time ever. Today is also my birthday, and I was determined to get myself a present. It was time for me to finally replace my winter boots, which have now formed holes on the heel because I walk like a penguin.

I’m pleased to announce that the boots have been found after scouring all the shoe stores in the mall. Ladies and gentlemen, my 100% awesome slouch boots from Browns:

They’re totally gorgeous. Made of soft leather and lightly lined with warm fuzziness for my feet. They are also my first wedge-heeled shoes, hence I just discovered how comfortable these heels are. My god! I’ve been blind for years! I hope these last me for at least a couple of years. But I suppose it isn’t so bad if I go out and get more awesome boots for myself no?

Techyness and Girlyness has Never been This Obvious.

The kinds of gifts I got this year just makes it so painfully obvious what kind of stuff I am into. :D What can I say, I get so excited for presents that I do a little dance and ask if I can open it right then and there.

  1. A car new stereo and a M3 for my Nintendo DS Lite from Rom
  2. Sexy Hair products (Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Tri-Wheat Leave-In Conditioner, Big Sexy Hair Root Pump Plus Mousse, and Spray and Play Hairspray) from Emily
  3. Wella Holiday Duo (Wella Shampoo and Conditioner set with Headband) from my big sister
  4. Eating for Life healthy recipe book from my personal trainer

It’s clear that my new year’s resolutions would probably consist of:

  • Find lots and lots of interesting music to bop along to on my drive into / out of work
  • Play my DS more (meaning, I have take the subway)
  • Not have a single bad hair day. I have already tried the Sexy Hair products and I must say that I am very very impressed. Reviews to come!
  • Keep my hair colour from fading out.
  • Keep on top of my exercise routine and eat healthy. I’m determined to have that bikini body this summer!

Did you get what all you wanted this year? I hope you did. Merry Christmas!
